Wow
This is just an amazing remix project. Friggin amazing. Kutiman scours YouTube, finds videos of amateur musicians, remixes them into professional sounding songs. Again, amazing.
The more I think about this, the more I am reminded of the glory days of early rap back when The Beastie Boys released "Paul's Boutique." You simply just don't find this much sampled layering in much music anymore and the complexity of the textures takes me back in time before lawsuits shut that shit down.
